An ultrasonic mold electrolysis cleaner is a specialized cleaning system that combines two powerful cleaning technologies: ultrasonic cleaning and electrolysis (electrolytic cleaning). This synergy allows for the highly effective and gentle removal of stubborn contaminants from molds, particularly those with intricate geometries.
- Ultrasonic Cleaning:
These sound waves create millions of microscopic bubbles in the liquid, a phenomenon known as "cavitation."
When these bubbles rapidly collapse (implode) near the surface of the mold, they generate powerful localized shockwaves and microjets.
These micro-impacts effectively dislodge and blast away contaminants like grease, dirt, carbon deposits, and other residues from the mold's surface, even in hard-to-reach areas like crevices, holes, and complex cavities.
- Electrolytic Cleaning:
When an electric current is passed through the solution, an electrochemical reaction occurs.
At the cathode (the mold's surface), hydrogen gas bubbles are generated. These tiny bubbles act as a "scrubbing" agent, physically lifting and peeling off dirt, especially deeply embedded contaminants and oxide layers.
At the anode, oxygen gas is typically produced.
This process effectively softens and loosens stubborn deposits like rust, carbon buildup, oil, paraffin, and sulfide layers that might be difficult for ultrasonic waves alone to fully remove.
The Combined Effect:
The beauty of the ultrasonic mold electrolysis cleaner lies in the complementary action of these two processes.
- Electrolysis loosens and separates the dirt from the mold surface.
- Ultrasonic cavitation then enhances this process by providing a physical scrubbing action, accelerating the removal of the loosened contaminants and ensuring a thorough clean.
